Sylvia's P. O. V The alarm had gone off moments ago, but I lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling. Then, remembering what today meant to me, I smiled and jumped out of the bed, doing a happy dance. Today is the first day of my final year in high school!! For someone who has never been excited about school before, this sure is a first. I skipped into the bathroom, beginning my morning rituals. " Good morning Mom." I greeted her a while later, kissing her on the cheeks. " Good morning, dear. How was your night?" " Great. Excited about today. " I replied, serving myself some pancakes and maple syrup she already made. " Who wouldn't be? It's your final year in high school. Oh, my... When did you grow up so quickly? I can't believe you'll be going to college soon," My mom said, joining me at the dining table. " Come on, mom, don't make me cry on my first day. " I replied, and we chuckled. My mom reached out and, holding my hands, squeezed them affectionately. " I'm proud of

Alex. I was in front of my mirror, dressing up for school when I heard a knock on the door. " Come in," I called out, putting on my watch. My mum walked in and came to me, staring at my reflection in the mirror. " I see you're all dressed up. My, you look dashing today. I can't believe you've grown up so well," She said. " Come on, stop with the flatter," I said, and we chuckled. " Head downstairs for breakfast, okay? " She said, and I nodded, walking out of the room. I picked up my bag and strolled downstairs, where I met the rest of them sitting, eating their breakfast. " Good morning." I greeted aloud before settling down for some toast and bacon. " Good morning, son. How was your night?" Edward asked. " Fine. " I mumbled, mouth full. We continued eating in silence till he spoke again. " Alex, Hazel? We have an announcement to make. " Edward began. " What is it? " Hazel asked, not looking up from her food. " Your mom and I will be going on a business trip ear

Sylvia. It was lunchtime, and I was with Patrick, who kept discussing while I listened attentively. It was a few days later and everyone was getting excited about it. " They said there'll be other schools attendance. How cool is that?" " Pretty cool..." I replied, sipping down my water. Patrick glanced at me as he ate. " Aren't you excited about the camp?" He asked. " Well, I am. But... I just don't know. It means there'll be a lot of people there. More people are not ready to meet." I replied, whispering the last bit. " Come on. I'm sure it won't be all that hard. Besides, I'll be there the entire time so you don't have to worry about a thing, okay?" " Okay. If you say so," I said, chuckling. Just then, Alex walked past our table with a group of people, mostly girls, around. They seemed to be discussing something funny as they kept laughing out loud. My gaze followed them till they were out of sight before I finally came back to the room. " Penny for your thoug

Patrick. " Patrick?? Is that you!?" a voice called out, forcing me to pull apart. I turned to see who it was and was surprised when I found out it was... " Skyler?" I called out as well. " Patrick! Oh my God!... No way! " She said as she rushed to hug me. Pulling away, she stared at me, her eyes widening. " What happened to you? I thought you were dead!" " Dead? Seriously!? " I repeated, chuckling. " Wait here... I'll be back. " She said as she made to leave, yelling " Guys, look who I found!" On her way out. Wait a sec, are the rest of them around? I turned to Sylvia, and she had this stunned, confused look on her face. "Who is that?" She finally voiced out. " Oh... That's Skyler James. My best friend." I replied. " Best friend?" She squeaked, and I was about to reply when I got interrupted again. " No way! Patrick, is this you?" An all too familiar voice called out, causing a grin to break out on my face. " Martin! What are you doing here?" I asked

Sylvia's P. O. V We all went ahead to register and, just like Patrick had said, we were divided into sections since they were a lot of schools there. Rocksville high, Crenshaw highschool and Patrick's former school with one other school whose name I didn't get were in the section which meant I'll be seeing more of Olivia and Tyler. I was especially glad about that. Then came the sharing of cabins. With the boys and girls already separated, it was time to assign to the cabins we'll be spending the night in. It was four girls per cabin. I crossed my fingers, hoping and praying that Olivia and I would get to share the same cabin, but it was not to be. " Aww... Too bad. I wanted us to share the same cabin." Olivia had said after her name had been announced and the number for the cabin completed. " It's okay. We'll still see each other." I said, and we chuckled. " I have to go now. I need to get settled and meet the people who I'll be staying with for the next two weeks. They

(Next day) Sylvia's P. O. V I woke up with a start the next day. Looking around, I noticed how unfamiliar the room was until I remembered I was in a cabin with three other girls instead of my room at home. The two other girls were still sleeping, but Skyler's bed was empty. She must've home out. I shrugged and strolled into the bathroom, brushing my teeth and taking my bath. When I emerged from the bathroom, Marigold and Aubrey had already stood up, hands in their hair as they were still sleepy. " Good morning." I greeted, walking back to my bed. " Good morning Sylvia." Aubrey greeted, yawning. " Gosh, I slept in late yesterday. I need more hours of sleep. " " Well, I don't think you'll have that." I replied." The organizers are beginning to make rounds, calling everyone out of the cabin. " " Argh!!! "Marigold groaned out. " I hate this..." Just then the door opened and Skyler walked in, more like jogging in. She had gym clothes on, earphones, and was sweaty. She m

Olivia's P. O. V We were done with our tour and on our way back to the cabins. I was walking alongside Tyler since Sylvia had gone ahead to be with her boyfriend. Tyler kept having conversations with Alex and I listened to music on my phone with my earphones. Not paying attention to where I was going, I bumped into someone, startling me. " Oops... sorry," I mumbled and made to leave, but a hand grabbed mine, forcing me in place. " And where did you think you're going pretty?" A voice asked, and I looked up. Okay, he's handsome, but I'm not in the mood for this. " I just said I'm sorry for bumping into you. Would you please let me go?" " Can you stop being fussy? I haven't even done anything." He shot back. I scoffed and snatched my hands away from him, storming off. He probably isn't used to girls rejecting him because he came right back, forcing to me face him. " Where do you think you're going?" " Don't you dare touch me!." I growled, my blood boiling. He ran h

Sylvia's P. O. V " Here, hold my hand," Alex said. I stared at his outstretched hands, confused. Huh? He saw the confusion on my face and smiled even wider. " You think I'll leave you here all alone? " " But I just said I'm claustrophobic." I reminded. " I know. It's because you're scared of small, enclosed places. Maybe if someone held your hands, you wouldn't feel so scared." " Oh...." I mumbled, trailing off. A blush crept up my cheeks as I gingerly put my hands on his. He stared at the hands and stopped, frowning slightly. " What happened to your hands?" He asked, seeing the bright red mark. I glanced at it and gasped. " Oh... I had hot chocolate spilled on me yesterday." I replied, and he gave me a cursive look. " You're not that clumsy." He noted, and I smiled nervously. He clasped it gently, pulling me with him. " Okay now. Close your eyes." He said. I nodded and did as he told me. He began walking, and I followed him, my eyes still closed. Once I felt in

Patrick's P. O. V Looking for and finding Martin, I pulled him away from the crowd he was in, dragging him by the chest. " Hey! What's wrong with you? Let me go!" He said, and I released him, forcing him to stagger backward. " What was that for?" He asked, stunned. I huffed, running my hands through my hair. " Why did you do that Olivia? Why did you threaten her?" I asked, and he stared at me, confused. " Who's Olivia?" " The girl you threatened yesterday, that's Olivia. " I replied. " Oh... That bitch? Take it, easy man, it's not my fault. She was too uptight. " He replied, and I almost punched him in the face if not for the timely intervention of Randy. " She's not a bitch, and this isn't New Jersey where you can get away with hitting on girls. Have some respect." I muttered through gritted teeth. " Let me go! " I mumbled to Randy before stomping out of the area.... " I didn't expect you to do that." Came Sylvia's voice a while later. We had gone back to
