The last thing that Elena remembered before dozing off was Matthew's hand, she liked feeling of her best friend's fingers caressing her locks of hair suddenly until it finally calms her into a good sleep that lasted until midnight. After gathering of that little bit of bravery in class, Elena started looking for her best friend everywhere to share her feelings with him and was as prepared for any reaction that he would give her more than anything else and so she went through her classes for the day but she realized that she had not seen him anywhere at all not even in one of the classes. "Why were you so adamant on going home with Silver?" Craig asked Elena as soon as they got inside the car. Elena stared outside the window, trying to collect her thoughts and didn't hear what Craig was saying. She still remembered the look on Silver's face when she said she wanted to go home with her. She could tell that she was hiding something from her and that whatever she was hiding involved Matthew's disappearance from school.
