Victor's p.o.v I was silently counting numbers knowing today was the day I was going to be given food. I had no idea who or what brought me food and water in my cell. All I knew was that they had a kind heart because if a demon was in my position in the human territory they could have been slaughtered by now. If by chance they were still alive they would have been starved to death. But that wasn't my case. Everyday food appeared in my cell once a day with a glass of water. At first, I refused to eat thinking it was poisonous, but as days went on it became clear to me, either way, I was going to die, so I might as well try to eat. The food I was given looked rather disturbing because it was sticky soup mixed with a piece of bread, but once it was in my mouth it tasted a lot better.
