Third person. Kayla was finally out of the cave. Now, she was sitting before Alpha Denver who stared back at her without saying a word. She gulped down hard as she forced back the tears that welled up in her eyes. Her step father killer her mother and even if she had a feeling of that right from the beginning, it was harder for her to accept it.“What now?” She finally asked after some minutes of lingering silence. He drew in a deep breath and focused his gaze on her. “It’s left for you to decide. What do you want to do to who killed your mother?” He asked Kayla who got numb and unable to utter a single word.

Jason. It’s been a couple of months since Kayla visited. Everyone seemed to have moved on with their lives but I could tell that there was a deep scar in the depth of their hearts. Our father seemed to have forgiven us because none of us ever brought up talks of Kayla and saving her from the other pack. Third person. Kayla was asleep in her room when she heard a slight knock on her window. She jerked up immediately, her heart beating out of her chest and beads of sweats forming on her forehead. Even if she was the most powerful person in the pack, she couldn’t deny the feeling of dread that crept into her soul. Almost every second, it felt as though she was going to get killed. The look on her stepfather’s face was not welcoming either. It looked as though he was waiting for the perfect time to launch his attack on her. “Who’s there?” She asked and stood up.
