Jason. Everything was happening fast and the more I thought of it, the more I realized that I wasn’t prepared for it. I had no idea that Kayla would show up the time she did and I wasn’t prepared for the information she shared with her return. It broke me to tiny bits and for the first time, I saw real hate in her eyes. It was clear that she hated my father and would not stop until she hurts him. This was a very conflicting situation. No matter how I tried to think, no solution came to the surface.

Ethan. I never knew that I would be in a situation like this, but things had to be done. Kayla was bent on taking out her revenge on my father and this scared me to death. My father had killed her mother and from how hurt she was about it, I could tell that she would kill him if she had the opportunity to do that. For another time, I wanted to have a talk with her. I felt the hurt she felt, but it would be unwise of me to stay still and watch her take out her revenge on my Dad.

Ethan. I could feel the distance lingering in my heart. Despite how hard I tried to ignore it, I could feel it at the depth of my heart. Kayla returned a different person and we couldn’t place our hands on the best way to go about the change. She was certainly pissed at us because of how we abandoned her at a point where she really needed us. However, how were we meant to tell her that we did what we did in order to save her life since our father already threatened to kill her if we go after her. We couldn’t explain this to her because none of us had the nerves to do so. Doing so would make it look as though we were cowards who couldn’t come over and fight for our mate, despite the threat. This evening, I was taking a stroll around the pack house when I caught sight of Kayla sitting at a corner, lost in thoughts and wearing a massive frown. One could tell that she has a lot in her mind and whatever it was disturbed her to the core. I wore a smile as I folded my hands to my chest

Third person. Kayla was laying on her bed, staring at the ceiling blankly and allowing the tears that poured out of her eyes to drop down her cheeks as it liked. She was blank and unable to figure out what she was doing at the moment. Her heart screamed for revenge, but another part of her heart wished to find warmth in the arms of her mates. She tossed on her bed again, sighing deeply when she couldn’t stop the countless thoughts that swirled around her head. Slowly, she allowed sleep to finally take a hold of her and her entire being. The next morning, she woke up to the sound of soft knocks coming from the door. She squinted her eyes and sluggishly got out of bed, being careful to avoid hitting her legs on the couch that laid by the corner. It was a servant, one who wore a very bright smile on his face. Third person. Kayla walked into the living room with a very cold demeanor. Presently, not a single person in the pack was on her good book…not her mates and most certainly, not her step father who would prefer that she died already. “Breakfast time?” Kayla asked as she turned her eyes to the quad who were sitting around the table with their father. The Alpha King had a strange look on his face. He looked greatly disturbed by whatever it was he had talked about with his sons. Kayla cared less about this. As long as she was concerned, she was in charge and was going to act like it.
