Tony POV I was stunned by the impact of Cassy’s hands on my face, but the look of hurt in her eyes had shaken me.   Suddenly, I felt a sudden constriction in my chest.  What have I done? I thought to myself as I watched Tory, the mother of my child, walk away from me.  “Tory!” I called out to her, but she was not looking back.  She was marching angrily away from me, and with every step she took, a sense of panic stirred within me.    I gave chase.  I yanked her hand back to make her face me.   

Tony POV After the two orderlies transferred Tory to her suite, I thanked them and closed the door. I sat beside Tory on her bed, careful not to press on her but very much wanting the nearness to assuage the need in my heart.  I held her hand – the one without the IV drip - enclosed it with both of mine and watched the pallor on her face. Tory? Where is she?”  Adam sighed.  “I think I overdid it. Tory is in the hospital. She might lose the baby.” I heard him groan and felt scared.  Adam was never like this.  He was my bulwark, my strength.  But now, I could feel like he was feeling lost.  

Adam POVI watched the twins as they ran to their parents and smiled. I was about to follow them, but then my phone rang.“Jared.
