As he hugged her tightly, it was like the floodgate of tears in her eyes was opened and her tears rolled down uncontrollably. This kind of hug was the appropriate comfort she needed right now and Kirklin pacified her as much as he could so she could feel better.

He too wasn’t in the right frame of mind for the meeting but he had to fly into London to attend so the company could make huge progress in the coming weeks.
