EMILIA POV

After Seth’s surprising announcement, Lucas and I glanced at each other, silently communicating. I gave him an apologetic look, and he blinked slowly at me to assure me that it would be fine.

“You will let me speak to my sister, won’t you?” Lucas asked Seth as he turned towards us and made to lead us towards the dungeon.

“Only if I feel like it, you traitor,” Seth replied, using his hands to signal for his soldiers to take us to the dungeon.

“They must be kept in the same cell,” he instructed the soldier. “Find the smallest one of them all and put them both in it. It’ll give them enough time to think about why they shouldn’t have done what they did, especially the one who once called himself an Alpha.”

Seth took one last look at Lucas and shook his head in disappointment as he said, “This was never worth it in the first place, and I hope you see that now. You have singlehandedly ruined your name for an Omega. I won’t fault you for getting angry in the dungeon and killin
