Business fall out
When I opened my eyes, I was lying in a hospital bed with a machine beeping beside me and an IV attached to my hand. I looked around and I saw Aira standing and leaning on the wall wearily. When she noticed that I'm awake, "Kelsie!" she exclaimed worriedly.
"How are you feeling?" she asked hastily. "Hailey! Kelsie is awake," she called and I heard Hailey responded from the bathroom before she pushed the door open. "Thank goodness!" she murmured.
"I'm thirsty," I said weakly. Aira opened a bottle and put in a straw for me to sip conveniently. "Why am I in a hospital bed?" I asked but recalled that I wasn't feeling well before I fainted.
"Hailey, call Brent that she's up," Aira told her and she complied. They said I was out for eight hours because the doctor infused medicine for me to rest that long to recuperate from exhaustion. They informed me that Brent is coming shortly from the precinct with Hunter on the investigation of the fight that happened the previous
