Brent told me that his mom is about to speak to everyone and thankfully, we got back to our table right before she was called up the podium. All of the guests gave her a round of applause as she paced to the front. 

Right at the beginning of her speech, she thanked each and everyone for coming and for celebrating her 55th birthday. She gave some words of wisdom and encouragement which was a good inspiration to take in. As she talked at the podium, you could tell that she's a warmhearted person. Her class and personality are like a match made in heaven. I felt so lucky to have her as my mother-in-law.
