Chapter hundred-seven

Daniel’s POV

I was on the sidelines when the war started, pretending to assist from the back. When those excuses ran out, I took charge of the men, ordering them to go batch by batch. I was doing everything possible in my power not to go out there.

Not only did I not want to be seen as a traitor but the thought of killing and butchering the people I once called friends… turned my stomach.

Being here alone made me feel sick but I didn't know how to get out of it without raising Ethan's suspicions.
