Chapter hundred-six

Shadow's POV

That kid was like me.

That was.

He was faster and dare I say, stronger than I was. It was scary to think and after I broke his left, I ran away.

Because of two reasons.

One I had other plans and two, there was a slight possibility that that kid could beat me in front of my men...it was slightly but I wasn't taking it.

Sneaking into Caleb's house was pretty easy to do. Everyone was distracted with either saving their city or their lives, leaving the house wide open.

My source informed me that this was the spot, so my steps were sure and measured. With my long coat hiding my build from others, I was able to blend in.

There were three men at the entrance of the door. The one closer to me was the first to see me approach and he yelled in warning. Unfortunately for them, he was too slow, and by the time he finished uttering the words, his two colleagues were dead, one with a knife to his throat and the other with a bullet embedded into his forehead.

The guy ran back in horror,
