Damon's mind came back from wandering off and he took his eyes to Roshan who was still seated on the couch.

He let out a soft sigh: “It's best that the past should never be remembered," he said in reply to Roshan's earlier question before he walked out to the balcony.

Some days later.

I was feeling all nervous and anxious. I have arranged and rearranged my whole apartment for the hundredth time now but I am still feeling it's not good enough.

“This isn't right. It should be over there instead," I said as I repositioned the wall clock from its original position at the wall directly facing the door to its new position, which was adjacent to the door.

I stood back and watched how its new position beautified and fit the room but I was still having doubts but judging by the time on the clock I didn't have any time left for any further arrangements. It's already close to 8 PM. Just 4 minutes remaining before it is exactly 8 PM at the dot. But why isn't he here yet? I found myself looking
