Chapter 9
The flight took about seven hours and fifteen minutes. I spent my time on the flight writing my book, listening to music, watching movies and eating. At least that did not go to waste. In no time I was out of the air plane and making my way towards the arrival entrance of the air port. I tried looking for my mom but could not find her, she told me she was the one going to be picking me up.
"Hey mom." I answered the phone when I heard it ring from my back pocket.
"I am so sorry baby, I would not be able to make it. Your older cousin, Alexander is going to come pick you up okay?"
"Okay." I nodded alongside Eve if I know she couldn't see me.
"He is already on his way. Just ten more minutes."
