I am going to remember this moment for the rest of my life; I thought to myself as I placed the delicate gold bracelet on Kaeleigh’s right wrist. I placed a kiss on her hand and then turned to the audience and as my dad gave his blessing and announced us as the next Alpha and Luna of the Dark Moon pack, I raised our hands and the audience cheered. 

The excitement was palpable as we walked through the crowd. Everyone wanted to speak to us, to congratulate us.
