I ran as fast as I could to the council. Despite the pain I felt in my chest, it didn’t stop me from running. My people needed me. I couldn’t count how many times I stopped myself from turning into a wolf, so I could get there faster.

If the hunters saw me, I will be in a big trouble. I skipped some of the rocks, and ran as fast as I could to the council. The black hooded house soon came into sight.

I ran into the house, alerting the occupants of the house. It was exactly 10pm. They weren’t sleeping, but were planning to go rounds around the parameter.

“Mike?” Elder Tim queried a bit stunned to see me here at this time.
