Chapter 83: Finally

I don't want to admit I lost in the dice game but that was the truth.

“Why are you screaming? It's just a game after all.” I scoffed, shrugging off my shoulder.

Hearing what I said, Mara stood up from the floor and laughed upon seeing my expression.

“You… you really need to see your facial expression.” She pointed at the mirror opposite her, and laughed.

She didn't even give a single break from her laughter. Hearing what she had just said, I wanted to tear up, but I couldn't. I mask whatever tears I wanted to vent out, and indifferently glanced at the mirror.

Truly, she wasn't lying. Even when I tried to bring out a smile, it looked forced.

I won't admit I'm envious of Mara because I really am not envious. I just wanted to win and that's it, but since I didn't win, I could only blame myself for that.

“Just let me be.” She spat, my face cold as ever.

Mara scoffed, as she rolled her eyes at me. “You're right. You need to be alone to grieve about your loss.”
