Fortunately, I could finally leave the room. As I turned the handle, anticipating the door to open, I felt a large hand on top of mine.

The hand was large yet cold, sending a flush to my face.

The coldness of the hand stifled the screams that were about to escape my mouth.

However, that doesn't mean I wasn't anxious and scared.

“Who's in this room with me?” As I wondered, my mind kept going places.

Could it be some spirit? Who aside from a spirit would be in such an enclosed room that seems suffocating.

Finding my voice, I finally asked in an anxious yet hurried voice. “Who… who are you?”

I need to know the identity of this person, before I can decide whether to scream or find another way to escape.

However, more and more seconds passed, without the individual speaking.

His silence made my heart tighten even more. I started thinking dangerous thoughts. Was this man a dangerous person?

Could it be a kidnapper?

Or an enemy?
