Chapter 33 | The Park

I go to the grocery store with Henry and get everything we need and place it in the car. All the cold stuff goes into a cooler that way I can take Henry to the park and not be in a rush to get home.

I drive to the nearby park and get out and get him situated in his stroller. We walk around the park, and I listen to his precious little coos and giggles. He’s such a content baby when he’s outside. Any time he cries, and we can’t get him to stop quickly, we always take him outside and it has an instant calming effect on him.

I’ve become like a nanny for Grace and Bennett. Maven doesn’t seem to mind as long as I’m able to do my other work. I don’t have like an increase in pay or anything, but honestly, being around Henry made me realize how much I enjoyed babies. I would love it if all I had to do was tend to him all the time.
