CHAPTER 30: KAEL

Naya’s P.O.V

The man sitting next to me was Kael, my ex boyfriend. My heartbeat raced. What could Kael be doing here? I questioned myself, but I couldn’t wrap my hands around it.

The eyes of customers at the beach’s canteen were all fixed on me.

They must’ve thought that I had lost my mind. I stood up from my chair and proceeded to an open space in the canteen, where everyone could see me.

“Good day, everyone,” I said calmly. “I’m so sorry I screamed. I know that it must’ve caused some sort of panic or uneasiness.

I’m really sorry,” I said. The crowd nodded in acceptance. I returned back to my seat to meet the man that I least expected to see.

I couldn’t switch tables so I had to bear the consequences of my attempt to prove that everything was fine.

The food I had ordered for was already on the table. I started eating, but silently.

“Naya, I know that you’re mad at me for leaving. But, I want to... no I need to apologize to you for my actions. I was such a jerk. I haven’t stopped
