CHAPTER 61: THE POST

Talon’s P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing uncontrollably on the bedside table. I rubbed my eyes and reached out for it, still half-asleep.

When I looked at the screen, I saw that I had several missed calls and messages from friends and family. Confused, I clicked on one of the messages and my heart dropped.

There was a post on social media from Greta, announcing that we were engaged and that I had divorced Naya, my wife.

The post had been online since midnight and it was too late for me to take it down.I immediately grabbed my phone and dialed Greta's number, my fingers trembling with anger as I waited for her to pick up.

"What the hell is wrong with you? How could you post something like that online?" I yelled into the phone as soon as she answered.

Greta didn't seem fazed by my outburst. "I did what I had to do, Talon," she replied coolly. "You left me no choice. You know what I have on you."
