Daphne's POV

Some little tears and firm hand gripping as I let go of the most agonizing moment of my life, left me with less burden than I had when I stepped into the office.

Lorenzo's eyes held that half wit smile that I was told was meant for just a few people, one of which had turned out to be me, his eyes showed more support than I had ever thought they would.

“ We should do this more often” his hands squeezed on mine as he pulled the door to the car for me to get in. “ I love how relax it makes you feel”

I gave him a dimpled smile, as I threw my attention back to the road when I noticed we were moving on a different route which was new to me and certainly not the way to the penthouse. “Where are we going?” I questioned.

Lorenzo had his cigar at the edge of his lips, and I was thinking if letting him smoke while I was there had given him more nerves than he was supposed to have.
