Lorenzo's POV

My hands rimmed the edges of the glass as I chugged down the scotch, I couldn't help but notice how the girl standing in front of me paled when compared to Daphne.

Daphne was like a diamond, one that shone bright even in the dark, but this thing in front of me was a successful clone, that had me wondering why someone like her had been brought. An interior motive perhaps?

My eyes gleamed with fury when she sashayed closer.

“ Get out” I snarled.

She stood, defiant as though she was at a daze of what I meant, like she didn't understand an iota of what I had just said.

“Are you deaf?” I demanded to know.

“I was assigned here” she threw a glance around. Licking her lips seductively.

“To serve you” her waist swayed as she leaned close. With narrowed eyes, I crushed her wrist, satisfied with her cries for help.
