I entered the castle and went to Azrael to inform him that I wanted to confront the Elders. I knocked on his office door and entered when he said to enter. Standing in Lucian's shower I scrubbed the tiredness from my eyes. The hot water worked my stiff muscles from the awkward way I'd slept during the evening and half the day. I had fallen asleep on Lucian's couch holding a recent photo of him to my chest. I had awakened abruptly once I rolled onto the cold floor and broke the glass inside of the frame.
