Mina's pov

Flashback

It wasn't easy, but I did it. Love kind of makes everything easier.

I learned to be like her. How she behaved.

I most especially loved how she said Daddy.

It was a little game we played, which had an impact on both of our lives. She learned to love herself, and I learnt to love her more.

We would spent nights kissing and hugging. It was kind of a love that sprang from innocence and curiosity.

I didn't have time to cry, or mourn. I had to warn the others.

We we're under attack by a race of demons known as Mitos.

They fed on the consciousness of demons and were incapable of any physical harm to humans.

Esoba's room was the closed to the clinic. When I got kicked the door open, she was standing. And there was a man in front of her. Her brother.

Mitos had a way of disarming Demons.

They were telepaths, so they'd find a way into your consciousness and steal your memories.

"Esoba".

"You're dead, leave me alone".

I had to think fast. If the Mitos got any close
