Chapter fifty four

Mina's POv

Flashback

I realized that it wasn't Harver.

It was a Mitos, who had taken the form of Harver. They'd gotten into my head.

"You're a Mito. You're not real", I said.

"Not real.

Look around you, Mina. What's not real? I am what made you. I took you from the streets. Gave your family a new start. This is how you choose to repay me? "

I looked around for Theresa.

"No one's coming to save you. It's just you and me, Mina".

The Mitos started to gather around me. I tried to move, bit it seemed as if I was stuck in place.

I tried to reach for Harver.

He had a smile on his face.

My eyes started to close. This was the end.

"Help me", he whispered.

I opened my eyes furiously.

It was Harver. He was there, deep down somewhere.

I threw off the Mitos off my body.

I reaced for Harver and dragged him off the chair.

We fell, landing back in his room.

I just saved Harver.

I helped him off his feet.
