Narrator's POV

The City, Police Station

She pointed the gun directly at his forehead.

"How long have you known? ", she asked.

"I... ".

"I didn't ask for a story".

"Stanning, please".

"Call me Dakota".

"Ever since the attack in Michigan".

"You've never been to Michigan".

"I got in here by merit".

"I know. Who sponsored it? "

"I'm not supposed to say.."

"Maybe you should die with it", she said.

"No. I mean.... "

"Nuh-uh. Don't stutter. I want to hear the full story".

"I can't say it here".

"Okay then". She hit him with the butt of her gun. He held his bleeding nose.

She handcuffed him and dragged him away.

"Nothing here to see. We're just roleplaying", she said.

She reached the car and forced him into the boot.

The waitress from the night before rushed to him.

"What kept you? "

Dakota Stanning looked at her.

"Have you ever kidnapped someone someone before? "

"No... ".

"Then shut up", she said getting into the car.

She drove off like she was late for a flight.
