**Alexander’s POV**

I sat listening to Chad ramble on and on about some business gone wrong and how the Chandlers were fast making a lot of my shareholders turn in their shares to them.

The thought of Rosie going to this length just to spite me infuriated me. She’d been making a lot of my very good alliances give up their shares to her and her father. And with the rate at which this was going, she might end up having more than thirty per cent of my company’s shares at the end of the month.

I sighed dejectedly at the thought and sank into my chair. My thoughts were a mess; and from the expression on Chad’s face, it was obvious that he was just as confused as I was about the whole deal.

“What do you intend to do?” He asked quietly, almost carefully. It almost seemed like he was afraid of speaking too loud so as not to trigger one of my usual outbursts that had been repeatedly reoccurring these past few days.
