Restless

**Alexander’s POV**

I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t work and couldn’t even bring myself to do anything else aside from thinking about Emily and how she had been avoiding me ever since.

The way she had looked at me earlier had made my heart throb painfully in my chest as I could make out obvious dislike in her clear eyes.

I knew she was disappointed in me, even hated me now and all but I had to explain why I had done what I did to her. I couldn’t live with this; I couldn’t live with the fact that she hated me and no longer wanted to have anything to do with me.

I slowly pranced around the confines of my office whilst kicking at everything in my way; I was restless and so was Ajax, my wolf who howled nonstop in my mind.

I wanted to shift too, to run into the wolf, and to probably go hunting as that was the only thing I could think of to keep Ajax busy before he made me run mad.
