Laura's POV

"What other reason could there be?" I asked. He didn't say anything. What other reason was he expecting? Wait, was he expecting me to say I was traveling with him because I wanted to be around him and couldn't bear the thought of staying far apart? Or maybe that I loved him so much and wanted to be wherever he was? If that was what he wanted to hear, then he needed to think again.

I looked outside the window, at the surrounding bushes we passed. The environment was so serene and calm. A few moments later, we arrived at the airport.

"Did you already book our flights?" I asked Nicholas. I had completely forgotten that flights needed to be booked for our journey to Italy. I would imagine someone like him would want to get first-class tickets. He wouldn't want to stay in economy class or even business class. I smiled at the thought.
