A Deadly Game.

Fiona's POV

I woke up in his arms, my body bare against his. He looked peaceful as he slept, so peaceful that an angel would grovel at his sight.

Tiredly, I walked into the messy bathroom, cleaning up the surroundings. My head felt lighter as I buried my body in the filled-up tub, praying everything would work out at the nursing home I was visiting today.

The buzz of Alexander's phone rang loudly as I walked out, with a towel wrapped around my chest. Curiously, I sat on the dressing table stool, watching through the mirror as Alexander picked up the call.

"I'll be home tonight. Please don't call again." He hung up, throwing the phone on the bed. "You're awake," he said to me.

"Yeah, it seems I'll be getting fired from work today, thanks to you," I said, picking up a hair dryer and using it on my hair.

"Let me help with that," he said, slipping on trousers and taking the dryer from me, slowly fixing my hair.
