Fiona's POV

I was under the weather on a very bright day; it must have been a reaction to the smoke downtown the other day. It didn't occur to me that someone else was following Alexander besides me—someone a step ahead.

I stood in front of the mirror, staring at my image. The mini skirt and top were too revealing, I thought, as I added a jacket to hide a good amount of my skin.

I picked up my phone and dialed Davis's number, which didn't take a second before he picked up.

"Hey dawg," he spoke aloud, making me shudder in irritation.

"How have you been?"

"Been better now that you have a boyfriend," he laughed. "How will Alexander feel when he realizes you're the one behind everything?"

"I didn't..." I tried to explain, but that wouldn't change the fact that I was indeed a snitch. "I would love to see you soon. Missed the most annoying person in my life."

"I would—" he stopped speaking.
