MY LEGS FELT NUMB after almost an hour walk. We had to travel for like four hours by car because Roam's nephew finally agreed to meet him and Izzy. Left with no choice, I had to come along since it wasn't safe to stay in the house on my own.
The group Syd was said to be joining had rogue wolf members now. Even when vampires wouldn't be able to get in without proper invitation, the wolves could. They just have to drag me out and the vampires could feast on me easily.
Roam must have noticed my tiredness. He anchored his arm on my shoulders and pulled me gently to his chest. "I can carry you on my back if you can't walk anymore."
