We walked out of the room, and onto the hall, and I noted that the maids were slightly peeping from their stations. They had the look of pure envy, which couldn’t mask, no matter how hard they tried. I only hoped that the whole thing wouldn’t bring about a problem for me. I had enough issues as it were, and didn’t want more.

“Ok, so before we get to the Alpha, I have to run a few things over with you,” she said calmly.

“Ok,” I mumbled.

Lina Royale frowned slightly. “No, that’s definitely not how you would respond to the Alpha. It should be, ‘Yes, Alpha’ at all times. Alpha Gunnolf doesn’t tolerate disrespect in any form and if you insult him in front of his people, he would never forgive you. He believes so much in the power of respect and submission. This is not to say that the people’s voice will be silenced, but they listen to the overall decision that he makes,” she explained.

I swallowed slightly. I would have to cut my words. Though, I tried not talk too much these days,
