The Birth

Cassie's POV

I have been pregnant for a little over 2 months and carrying triplets has proven to be difficult.  I am still not trusting that Xander's kindness has been fake and that he still plans on taking my pups away as soon as I give birth but I allow myself to hope for him to be truthful.  

As I try to get out of Xander's bed to head back to my apartment I can't help but struggle.  "Here let me help you.  You know you could also just stay here until the pups are born." Xander said as he helped me to my feet.

"Which one of my brothers will be sitting with me today?" I asked.  Normally when an Omega turns 17 she never sees her family but with Xander not wanting to share he allows my brothers to sit with me while he is doing his alpha duties.

"Today Martin will be.  I have a meeting with Alpha Leo from Dark Water pack.  He has caught word that my mate is an Omega.  I don't trust him so I need Johnny with me." Xander replied.

"Am I in danger?"  I asked suddenly worried.

"No.  Your father agreed to let me hold the meeting at his house." Xander said as he gently rubbed the mark he left on me.

"Okay.  He won't try to steal me will he?" I asked.

"I don't know alphas have been known to fight for Omegas there is just one issue with that.  Your mate has marked you.  That means that you will feel like your losing your virginity every time you're with anyone but me."  Xander said. 

"Then I should hide," I replied as I felt myself trembling.  Would he even fight to keep me? That would be the perfect excuse to get rid of me.  But he would also lose his pups.  

"Or I could keep you by my side the whole time.  He would be a fool to think he can take you right in front of your father and all three of your brothers."  Xander said after a moment of silence.  He got up and walked into his bathroom.  Shortly after Xander shut the bathroom door I heard a knock on the door.  

Thinking it was Martin I opened it.  When I did so I saw a big male I had never seen before.  'Xander help.' I said through our mate link as the male pushed the door open and slammed me down on the bed.

"Your mate should know better..." The male said before someone pulled him off of me and slammed him into the wall.

"I am very sorry Luna Cassie.  He got past me.  Are you alright?" Quintin said.  Quintin is Xander's younger brother.

"I am alright thanks," I replied as I felt a tear fall down my cheek.

"What are you doing in my room Alpha Leo and why did my brother need to pull you off of my mate?" Xander said with pure hatred-laced voice.

"She is an Omega.  She can't be anyone's mate.". Alpha Leo replied.

"1 she is my Omega and I do not share.  2 she is my mate thanks to the grace of the moon goddess.  3 you have two hours to get off my territory before I allow her three brothers to rip you apart." Xander said as he picked Alpha Leo off of the ground and slammed him into the wall.  Alpha Leo got up and ran.  "Quintin go and get the pack doctor. I want to make sure she and the pups are alright."

Quintin quickly left and was back in no time with the doctor.  Martin, Johnny, and my other brother Luca came in behind him.  "Doctor.  Cassie was attacked.  Check her thoroughly and check the pups."  Xander ordered.  The doctor didn't waste any time he got to work checking everything.

"I see nothing wrong with her or her triplets." The doctor said as he left.  Xander grabbed a hold of me and started to kiss me on the lips.  I felt very safe with Xander.  

"Johnny I need you and your brother to hunt that scum of an alpha down and make sure he knows to never cross our borders again.  Quintin go with them." Xander said as he held me tightly against his chest.

Today my labor started.  While Xander is dealing with a rogue attack Martin has taken me to the pack hospital to give birth.  'Xander come to the hospital.  I am in labor.' I said through the mind link.

I was in labor for five hours and Xander never came.  With the lack of their father's presence, I decided to name them.  The identical ones would be Jackson and Marcus while their brother was going to be Levi.

'Has anyone seen Xander his sons have been born but I can't find him?' I said throught the pack link.

'Luna Cassie, Xander was injured badly.  He is comatose at the hospital.  Johnny is missing.'  Quintin replied.
