Chapter 31 Dinner

Dinner

I swallowed my throbbing heart and looked him in the eyes. The emotion in his eyes sang to my heart.

This can't be a dream, I thought as I blinked. He really kissed me? I quickly pressed my lips together and drew back.

"We can swim now," he said as he led me to the water and dove in.

I was stunned for a few seconds before being jolted awake by the splash of cold water on my face.

"That face is so ironic!" he chuckled.

I saw his hidden teeth emerge, which appeared elusive in my eyes. My lips then began to form a soft smile. My heart skipped a beat, and warmth poured down my cheeks.

"Ahh!"

I hit the water hard to wet him. I didn't stop until I was close to him. Until he grabbed my hips and yanked me into the deep water.
