I couldn't stop myself as I stared at the scar embedded in between her chest.

“It’s hideous,” she sobbed.

My heart ached for Liv, she wouldn't have to hide such a horrible scar for the rest of her life if she hadn't jumped in front of a sword for me.

“You’re beautiful, Liv,” I said to her.

She stared up at me with her beautiful big eyes, tears welling up in them. I got lost in her orbs and wondered what kind of horrible pain she had to go through all by herself.

“Do you think so?” she asked me, a sad expression on her face.

I sighed, running a hand over the scar, “I'm so sorry, Liv.”

We were so close, that I could feel her warm breath on my lips. I tried to erase the feeling that bubbled in my chest but Olivia inched closer, her face filled with vulnerability and desperation.
