Too close

Matthew and Diane had been spending all the time together they could. Growing closer and deeper in love. It wasn’t quite ideal to have both their parents in the same house, but everyone was getting along ok. Diane was now able to walk without any assistance so they were searching the property to pick a spot for their house.

Matthew stopped at a spot on the far side of the property. He took Diane’s hand and lead the way.

“This is the another spot like the rest we seen but with a view. It’s ten acres to my Dads and fifteen form yours.”

Diane stood in the middle of an almost clear land that looked over the hillside and many trees.

“I do like this spot the most for far but does any of the land have water?”

Matthew knowingly looked into Diane eyes. She was happy but something was missing.

“There’s that creek by your Dad’s but that’s about it. Now we don’t have to stay here. We can go anywhere. I just need to ensure we are safe from our fathers past and those trying to steal from my distill
