Recovery

I’m sitting in a rocking chair on the porch. Not sure where we are but off the grid. Nothing is here but trees. Aaron advised that there was several traps and alarms; quite old school. So, there not much to do since we won’t be here at the cabin long term.

Aaron had to hike a mile just to get cell service. It’s safer this way. No one can use technology to easily find us. I don’t mind except missing my family. It’s peace and we have plenty of food. There is a nice creek outback that has cool water, I think it’s spring water. It is cold and clear. I saw some fish in the creek.

The cabin is quite large to me. Two floors with five bedrooms. One in the basement. The cabin needs some work. Cleaning and painting. You can tell no one has been here in years. No wonder only Aaron and Matthew know about its location.

Today is a nice sunny afternoon. If I had Matthew to hold me it would be the perfect day. I love being held. It makes forget the troubles of the day.
