Long overdue

Diane’s eyes lit up as she saw the dolphins. Matthew couldn’t help but notice her sparkling blue eyes. He was not expecting to find a women on vacation. He was looking for down time away from business and people but this woman has stirred something inside him. He can have women all the time but this was the first time he was interested in getting to know a women.

“So was that your ex-husband?”

“He was a boyfriend, if you don’t mind I’d like to not talk about him. I got a three day weekend. First in a long time.”

Diane continued to watch the dolphins until they were out of sight. They had walked about a mile watching the dolphins. The sun has set and the moon could be seen in the distance. The night was warm but not too warm.

“Thanks for walking me. I guess we should say goodnight?”

“I have a boat. If you like I can take out to see the dolphins up close. We can see them early in the morning and I have a spare room.”

“I’m not into going home with men I don’t really know.”

“We won’t be alone. I have a crew and actual security.”

“Actual security for what?”

“I live on an island not too far from here sometimes. Security is needed for unwanted guests.”

“If I go with you I need to know three things. Do you have..”

Matthew pulled Diane in close and kissed her. He knew she had a hard hits after seeing her ex on ground but it just felt right. He was taking a gambling kissing her all of a sudden but he didn’t care.

Diane was surprised but she needed strong arms wrapped around her waist. His kiss was so passionate but too hard. She pulled him in tighter.

Diane half hated herself. She was trying hard to convince herself he didn’t need a man but Matthew’s kiss was powerful. He was all man.

Matthew pulled away first.

“I’m sorry, there just some good chemistry here that I haven’t felt before. I really want to get to know you. You’re not like other women here.”

Diane let out a smile as Matthew led the way to boat.

“What about my stuff on the beach?”

“I’ll send a crew member to get it”

Diane thoughts went wild. A crew member can stuff? A man with a boat? I bet he makes good money. I might have to see where this goes. I’m not really into his money but I really have enjoyed our walk and that kiss. It made me weak, made me want to stay with him.

On the boat the waves were gently crashing on side. The moon was now fully showing with only a few clouds and many stars could be seen out on the ocean.

Matthew was sitting right beside Diane. He was watching the expression on her face. He never cared much for sitting in the moonlight or waiting for the dolphins he sees almost daily but this woman was intoxication.

She had changed clothes after he sent a crew member to nearest store. Matthew smiled as Diane offered to pay for the items. The crew member looked at Matthew confused. He left after Matthew gave him a nod but without the money.

Diane was now dressed in a nice black sundress that showed off every curve just right. Her makeup was now on. It was light and added to her beauty but the makeup wasn’t necessary. Diane was beautiful even without the makeup. Though Matthew was not sure what made him want this women more then others.

They had spent hours talking. Matthew told Diane about the small town he grew up in. How his great grandfather started a family business that he was lucky to have passed down to the generations. Diane shared how always lived close to beach. Though she is not big going far into the water she loves to collect beach stuff and watch the wild life.

Her parents were hard working but they passed.

Diane smiled to cover up the sadness that was starting to creep in after mentioning her parents.

Matthew leaned over and kissed Diane. His hands slowly went down to her waist.

The kiss made Diane forget her sadness. Dianne pulled away.

“I’m not the kind of girl that sleeps with men for one night stand. It’s been almost a year though.”

“I respect that, I can also see your starting to get cold with little goose bumps on your sweet arms.”

Without another word Matthew pulled Diane’s hand and lead her to the bedroom. There was a window that was just above the water line. So peaceful. There was a nice king bed, small kitchen, living room, and a large bathroom. His bedroom was as big as her apartment though she had a large kitchen and much smaller bathroom.

“I have many drinks here. What kind of a drink would like?”

Diane was a little surprised as she was used to having to get her own.

“Whiskey and a little bit of coke.”

Matthew was also surprised, he would of never took her as a whiskey drinker. He poured her drinks and they poured himself the same but without the coke.

Diane took a sip of her drink.

“Wow that’s some good whiskey”

“I’m glad you like it. We make this at our family business.”

“So your make alcohol?”

“Mostly. What do you do?”

“I’m a manager for company that transport goods.”

Diane couldn’t believe she found herself a businessman when she wasn’t even looking.

The rest of the night Diane laid in Matthew’s arm. This was exactly the attention she needed. It was peaceful her naked body was warm next to his body. It was perfect.
