I felt the weight of his head rest on my shoulders as he murmured, "Is it me, or were you running away from me?"

"If you don't mind, I'd like to get in my car and go home," I shivered when his nose brushed against my neck.

I removed my hand just as he was about to slam the car door shut, jerking back in panic, my body pressing against his. His chest vibrated against my back from a chuckle, and I took a step forward quickly, turning around to face him.
