I'd woken up some hours after Dice left my room, squinting as the rays of the afternoon sun seeped into the room through the blinds. I rubbed my thighs against each with other with a sigh, as I remembered what the man had done to my body.

In a bid to distract myself from the unholy thoughts, my hand reached out for my phone on the bedside table as if on instinct and I grabbed it, sitting upright.

There was a single text from Devin, asking to confirm if I was still up for our appointment with his stylist. I shot back an affirmative response before returning the phone to where it was.
