He pushed away from me before I could question the meaning of his statement. Then, he called a help to take me back to my room. That day was the last I'd seen him around.

One week after that day, I was huddled in my room, dressed in baggy boy shorts and an oversized hoodie, whilst emailing Papa about the thousands of reasons I would not agree to be an ordinary housewife to Dice. I could not believe Papa had spent millions to send me to one of the best colleges, only to decide that I'd be a housewife because Dice said so. Speaking of Dice, I really needed to give that man a piece of my mind already—when he reappeared from wherever he was hiding.

A reply from my last message came immediately, ‘I will take care of everything, soon, malyshka. Trust me.’
