Ariana's POV

Wow! I thought in sheer shock. How did Alpha Derek know that I knew Diana? How had he managed to find out? Well, the Alpha was no ordinary man. He had powers so there were some things he did not witness that he would know about, I concluded.

But I was still shocked, really shocked. This whole pack was full of surprises and I hadn't even been there for a whole week but a number of surprises had already been sprung on me. Who knew what surprise I would encounter next? I needed to brace myself up for the surprises in this pack so that I wouldn't be stupefied when it happened and other people wouldn't have a chance to make fun of my shock because that was the norm where I had been before.
