Chapter 22: Lost & Found

Joshua enter Emily’s room and sat down on her bed. He laid down where Emily would always sleep. On nights when he sneak in her to see that’s she’s resting comfortably, she would wrapped herself in his jacket or shirt. She would held his piece of clothing close to her and fall asleep.

Joshua smiled at the thought of seeing Emily holding onto his piece of cloth.

"How I wish you really do miss me as much as you pretend to," he thought.

Memories of their past came tumbling through his mind.

FLASHBACK

It was a bright and sunny day.

Joshua was fourteen years old. His grandfather and him went out that weekend. They were out fishing on the grand lake. His grandfather brought his boat and they were going to drift along the shore catching some bass and catfish for breakfast. After that they were going to rest up in their cabin and enjoy the afternoon. Once they’re done they were going to watch the sunset under the evening sky.
