Chapter 40: Convulsion

“Emily?” said Joshua, trying to wake her up.

Emily was tired and remained asleep. She was snuggling tightly in his arms.

He chuckled as she lay beautifully in his arms. “Oh, how those three years we wasted. Misunderstanding one another. How I wish we could turned back those times and be more like this,” he thought.

Joshua softly touched her cheek and thought of how beautiful she was. “I only called you hedious that one time, but never once in my life did I ever said that before or after. All my life you’re the beauty in my eyes. Did you know that during the three years we’re married, I couldn’t help but admire that pretty face of yours?” he thought.

“How I wish that you didn’t cheat on me. How I wish I didn’t protray myself cheating on you either,” he sighed. “The way we parted was not how I wanted.”

“I wish we never parted in the first place,” he thought.

Emily started shivering in his arms.

Joshua frowned and started to gently stroke her arms to wake her up. “Emily?”
