Chapter Twenty-Six

I was feeling lost and alone which was ironic considering I was in a mansion full of supernatural beings who have been scurrying about in a hurry to do nothing. It's been two days since we landed in Dublin and so far, we have managed to do nothing but grow in volume. The growth in our numbers was a good thing but if we were going to save Liam, which is what we were here for then we were going to have to move faster.

I had been plagued by nightmares that I can no longer blame on Greta since she is now dead. These nightmares stem from the very real fear of finally taking my stand against Lillian to find Liam dead and leaving me to raise our child on my own. Then of course the one of me transforming into a tiger and eating my child. That one shook me to the core. "What the hell is wrong with me?"

Releasing me from the torture of my own morbid fears was Jax. He came to stand beside me and wrapped his arm around the width of my shoulders.
