Chapter 24:

SARAH

Robyn was surely going to lose it if he walked into my house and saw Ryan lying on my couch at such early hours of the morning.

It made me so uncomfortable knowing how bad the whole situation was surely going to turn out to be.

So after forcing myself out of my reverie, I took a little extra time, with colder-than-normal water from the shower. Stepping out of the shower, I frowned seeing my reflection in the full-length mirror in my bedroom. Turning my face to the side, I eyed the sudden freckles on the bridge of my nose running down to my cheeks.

It was strange; I never pictured myself having freckles scattered all over my face but then that wasn't the main problem for the day.

I had to figure out a way to get Ryan out of my house.

Sighing, I walked over to my closet in my towel and searched through some comfortable clothes to wear. I secured my hair in two French plaits, down the side of my head.
