Chapter 25:

SARAH

“Pull over!!” I said pointing to the spot where I could recall students were meant to park including alumni like myself.

“So, here we are!” I said excitedly as we both highlighted from the car.

I had my hands tucked into the pockets of my jacket staring at the McConnell Tower atop the Hurley administration building, where the clock from my old days in school ticked.

I smiled inhaling the air around me with memories from my days in Uni rushing into my head.

The fountains situated in the center of the Uni space reminded me of the times I had just got in, feeling more like a newbie. Getting acquainted with my environment as a girl wasn't much of an easy task, but then I made it through all of that eventually.

“Is that the entrance?” Ryan said pointing to the North Texas entrance sign.

“Oh yes,” I said pulling him forward by the hand as we walked right through it.

“Cool!” He exclaimed holding his hand up to his mouth like he was amazed seeing the fountain ahead.

“Come along now!”
