Ethan's pov

"Make sure that the wound is not exposed to water. It is better to avoid activities that require a lot of movement on your arm for a while because it is possible for the wound to rub or open." I wrapped the arm that I had just stitched up with waterproof tape to keep the wound moist.

The man I was treating winced softly as I closed the wound. Then he clenched his hands into fists while squeezing the sheets of the patient bed he was sitting on. "So when should I come back, Doc?" I saw his face still grimacing, feeling the throbbing in his arm.

I finished what I was doing, moving from there to my desk after having made sure to give her an explanation. "You can come back after seven days. We'll see what the wound looks like." I prescribed the only medicine he needed. Then he tore off the paper and handed it over. "Here, take the medicine for the pain and apply an antibiotic to the wound. That should make a difference after 24 hours."
